What makes the SCHLEESE SmartLine different?

Unlike traditional interchangeable gullets, where only the angle and width of the tree can be changed at the same time, the SCHLEESE SmartLine allows these two factors to be adjusted independently. The result: a tailor-made fit that takes into account your horse's unique anatomy while preventing shoulder strain and cartilage compression.

The SCHLEESE SmartLine not only includes orthopaedic adjustments that ensure a straight and even frame, but also the patent-pending DoubleFlexPoint (DFP) – for greater stability and comfort.

The DoubleFlexPoint (DFP) – innovation from SCHLEESE

The **DFP** represents a decisive advance in freedom of movement for the horse's shoulder. It is stable enough to ensure an optimal fit, yet remains flexible so that the natural movement of the shoulder blade is not restricted. The principle of the **‘shoehorn’** comes into play here: the DFP works in a similar way to a shoehorn, which makes it easier to insert the foot into the shoe. In this case, the DFP ensures that the horse's shoulder blade glides effortlessly through the saddle. It absorbs the movements of the cartilage edges of the shoulder blade. All these unique features enable the saddle to fit perfectly, regardless of tree width and angle.

The SmartLine offers you 7 tree widths and a choice of 35 independent angle settings. Thanks to ultra-light, special aluminium gullets and SCHLEESE PSI panels, which can be individually adjusted or combined with the TruForm saddle pad, the saddle can be optimally adapted to your horse at any time.
