Specific adjustments
A specific, individual and regular saddle adjustment is very essential for an unrestricted riding comfort. For this, both the rider and the horse are measured. We measure the rider's hip, leg length in the stirrup, and upper and lower leg length. Our qualified Saddle Ergonomists then uses this information to pick the right saddle model and seat size.

Riding saddles has to fit both: horse and rider
When buying a Sattels of course, quality aspects should always be paramount. However, it is not only important that riding saddles meet the requirements of riders, but also that they fit the horse. This is an aspect that is often overlooked. Yet a saddle is essential for keeping a horse healthy. It therefore plays a crucial role in riding equipment. On the one hand, riding saddles ensure that the rider's weight is distributed evenly across the horse's back and that no excessive pressure is exerted on any particular point. On the other hand, they also keep the horse's withers, shoulders and spine free. If these areas were restricted, the horse would not be able to move freely.
Incorrect riding saddles can cause health problems
The importance of a good saddle is particularly evident in the potential health problems that can arise from incorrectly fitted riding saddles. These can cause premature wear and tear, but can also lead to blockages and tension in the animals. Choosing the right saddle is also crucial for riders themselves. Women should not ride on a men's saddle. There is a risk that they will develop saddlebags, which can cause extreme pain.
Structure of riding saddles
Even though saddle types differ in their details, their basic structure is largely the same. Exceptions are special types such as Western or treeless saddles. It also has a front and rear pommel, as well as saddle flaps, seat, knee rolls, girth straps and flaps. The saddle types differ in terms of construction and shape with regard to these basic components. There are further differences in width and length. In order to increase comfort for both horse and rider, saddle girths, saddle pads and saddlecloths should also be selected to fit the riding saddles perfectly.
